A residential valuation is provided for a number of purposes. These can include a Private Valuation (for an estimate of value, or when obtaining a Building Survey), Shared Ownership Valuations, Probate Valuations, Help to Buy Valuations (HTBV).
We use a bespoke survey & valuation app that helps us to provide the valuation. A typical instruction will consist of two main parts. 1. A brief survey (a physical visit to the property to understand its size, type and condition), 2. The desktop valuation (with research into comparable local sales evidence).
All our valuation reports include a rebuilding Reinstatement Valuation, so you know what the minimum insurance cover should be included on your buildings insurance policy.
From this, we provide a professional report of the property, which will be provided by an experienced Chartered or Associate Surveyor (MRICS or AssocRICS), who will be on the RICS Valuation Registration Scheme (VRS).
The report will be produced in compliance with the current edition of the RICS Red Book guidelines.
